Nice to see you again!
Oh boy! It has been a while since I have blogged!! Time flies even when you have the best intentions of keeping up with a blog.
So...I decided not to catch up on things, but rather focus on today and moving forward. What ever has happened is in the past and no need to revisit. If something comes up that I need to explain, well, I will do just that...explain.
Today was a mixed of emotions kind of day. I had plenty of sleep, yet I still d.r.a.g.g.e.d all morning long. Thank God I received a text from one of my preschool mommies about a play date. Talk about get up and get going. Jake is such a good little man. He lets mommy get a few extra zzzzz's :) He likes to watch Sid the Science Kid and mommy lays in bed listening to him sing and follow along. Next it's breakfast time and we talk about what our day will be like. I washed/dried a couple of loads of laundry. Then, off to get dressed for our lunch/play date.
We went to Chick-fil-A. I love it there. I was a good girl and had the grilled chicken sandwich and 3 fries. Jake had a few nuggets and a whole bowl of fruit and chocolate milk. His buddy and Jake had soo much fun. I had to go in the play gym to grab him .
And good thing I did!! He was so sweaty and flushed and felt over-heated. He took a couple of sips of my drink...and B.A.R.F. Yep, it all came out. Luckily it was just the liquid he drank and not the whole lunch. YUCK!! I cleaned him up, and he was ready to get back in there. NO WAY! Time to head home.
He took a great nap, I am sure he was totally exhausted! Poor little man. He woke up and we snuggled a little and then he was ready to play with A. (I take care of my neighbor's little girl, wow it's been for 2 years or so now. She's is 8 weeks younger than Jake) They had fun running around playing with trains and cars and such. While that chaos was going on, I started on our taxes. Ugh! I won't even go there because it's such a stressful time. They just have to be done by February 20!!
We ended today with eating dinner at Fuzzy's (nothing for dinner, NO GROCERIES) and then off to buy groceries.
This weekend is the SUPERBOWL! GO PATS!! Can I get a WHOOP WHOOP??!!! Wow, was that so last century or what?? I don't care, I want my boys to win and beat those Giants. I don't know why I always thinking about David and Goliath...hmm, we all know what happened to that GIANT! :)
God's blessings on your day!
