Life happens...again

Sorry I haven't kept up to date on my blog.  It has been a crazy few weeks in our household.  My FIL is in the hospital (again), complications from his emphysema and has not been doing well.  He gave us a good scare, and has been in ICU for over a week.  Tuesday, he was moved out of ICU and into a regular room at an acute care facility.  We are going through ups and downs, and stresses and exhaustion.  My husband is a wonderful man.  I thank the Lord for being there for Jeff and giving him strength to go through this.  I have seen every emotion these past few weeks, and yet he manages to be the best daddy and husband to us.  He's always been my rock, and now it's my turn to do that for him.  That is the least I can do, and really the only thing I can do at this point...support, love, and stand by him. 

Spring break is here!  Well, almost over actually.  I feel bad for my little guy that we haven't done much this week.  Today I plan to take him to the movies to watch The Lorax (yes, we are probably the only ones that have not seen it!).  Tomorrow, it's a train ride for us!  The weather has been muggy, but really nice.  So, even if it is just the last two days of Spring Break, I am going to make the most of it!
