What's better...1 or 2
Today was a day of errands all over North Texas! We headed out to Southlake for an eye exam. I am embarrassed to say that I have not had an eye exam since 2008. Yes, I know....bad me! I called around so many places, and we found a great optometrist next door to Costco! He was great, and we felt so comfortable with him. I think it's funny when they ask you, "What's better, 1 or 2..3 or 4", during the exam. Sometimes, I can't tell the difference :/
We.love.Costco. LOVE it! We purchased a few things while we were there, and bought new eyeglasses. The pair I currently have (from 3 years ago) are in such bad shape, the lens film was starting to peel off. This girl needs to start thinking and taking care of herself more! (why am I talking about myself in 3rd person?)
So, now off to Haslet for a birthday party. The birthday girl turned one. It really made me think how fast time flies by. Little man will be four this year...4! I want to embrace and cherish every minute I spend with him.
Then off to Corinth, to visit with my FIL. He had an obstruction that was preventing him from having a BM, thus not able to eat because of the inflammation. He had to get a tube through his nose to start pumping junk out. I know it sounds gross and TMI, but isn't medicine amazing! I've learned so much this past months that he has been in the hospital. We are hopeful this will help him start eating so that he can gain strength and start physical therapy. God has really been with us and giving us strength and comfort.
Last stop...home! We stopped by Mooyah's to get a shake and fries. Not the healthiest, AT ALL. But we just wanted a treat, and we all shared it :)

Blessings to you!
