So sorry to be neglectful...this house is still under lots of emotional stress and time is just flying by. So I'm taking a quick minute to share some photos of things that have happened this month.
But first, this is one of my favorite times of the year. Lent season is a time of reflection, thankfulness, and humbleness for me. I think of how much God loves us, even though we are not worthy. How Jesus died on a cross for us, so that we can have eternal life with Him in heaven. All of us. I cannot imagine being up there on the cross, slowly dying, hurting, crying. And when He finally died and was buried, he descended into hell. As proof that He is victorious, He rose from the dead and sits at the right hand of the Father. All for us. Amazing love! Thank you Jesus for your undying love.
One of my greatest blessings is that I can spend time with Jake. He is so much fun and says the most random things! Here is Jake on Easter Sunday.
In preschool, we made bagel bird feeders. I was searching and searching, and I came across this
blog and found an easy way to make a bird feeder for my little kiddos at school. Instead of the normal-sized bagels, I bought mini bagels since they are easier to handle by little hands. The kids had so much fun with this! Jake couldn't wait to hang one up (even though he is not in my class, we did this anyway at home)

Loved the way it looks, and Earth friendly! |
Yesterday, Jake had a play-date with his bud Hayden. These two get along so well, and the mommies do too! :) We ventured out to Trinity Duck Pond (if you live close by, go visit!). We planned to go sliding down the hill on cardboard...but that failed. The boys didn't seem to mind. They had sticks, trees, squirrels, ducks, bridges, grass...there was plenty to do.

Sliding down failed...but it didn't bother them at all! |

I loved that they enjoyed exploring! |

Oh well...we'll try it again! |
What fun Spring activities are going on in your home?? Please share! :)
